BBQ pork ribs

This classic ‘hands on’ meal is the perfect complement for our BBQ Sauce or Smokey BBQ Sauce.

Ingredients (serves 5)

  • 2 x 750g racks of pork spare ribs
  • 1 bottle of Café 26 BBQ rib or smokey BBQ rib sauce & marinade

Method 1 – Oven baked

  1. Preheat the oven to 240ºC.
  2. Place the ribs in a baking dish, pour the marinade over the ribs making sure that all are coated well.
  3. Cover the dish with foil & bake for 1 hour.
  4. Remove the foil and serve the ribs with potato wedges & salad, using your favourite Café 26 salad dressing.

Method 2 – BBQ or grill

  1. Slice each rib rack into three equal portions and place on a heated BBQ or grill pan.
  2. Brush ribs generously with the marinade, repeating as necessary until ribs are cooked.
